About Andrew Barden

Andrew Barden, founder and owner of Periscope Creative, is a graphic and web designer located in Portland, Oregon. Influenced by Swiss and modern design, he appreciates clean, simple and beautiful design free of visual clutter and needless elements.

He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. As a student his professors and fellow students inspired him and intensified his interest in branding and web design, as well as web standards.

Andrew brings to his projects a high level of expertise with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Fireworks, as well advanced knowledge and use of XHTML and CSS, and implementation of AJAX functionality where the separation of layout, functionality and content is the goal.
