Oswaldo Bibiano needed an identity for his new, authentic Mexican restaurant. He had been a chef at some very notable Portland restaurants and wanted to combine the high-end skills he developed there, with the heart and soul of the cooking from his native Guerrero, Mexico. A hand-made touch is the core of the food at Autentica, so we ended up doing an illustration that reflected just that. Using the vibrant colors essential in Mexican cooking and a rough earthy background, we created a look that hopefully does his amazing food justice.
